not my favorite satyricon album, but it is enjoyable. but, then again, my favorite is volcano, which supposedly started the "black'n'roll" thing

nice and heavy, the harmonies between duvall and jerry are gonna take some getting used to though

great suggestions, but i think with all the death vox on those songs, they'd kinda be hard for the makers to put them on, (although it would be fun to belt out some growls on a song like bleak or heir apparent) but i suggested burden, it's agreat song, and would be far more accessible

it's a hodgepodge of nonsensical fairy tale and mythical references put into the single most overrated (but still among my top 3 favorites) song EVER WRITTEN.

sepultura, post-max that is, i don't know why derrick green gets so much hate, he's a good vocalist, not in max's caliber, but still there's only one cd with him i don't care for (against) but i stilll dig the band

mine are fairly typical (i'm not a huge black metal fan, not kvlt in any way): 1. enslaved - frost 2. borknagar - epic 3. emperor - in the nightside eclipse 4. satyricon - volcano (not a popular choice, but imo, a great album) 5. dragonlord - black wings of destiny

no jack bruce? paul mccartney?john paul jones? the bass intro to dazed and confused is sooooooo great and HEAVY just my opinion though. i'd throw in cliff burton, dave ellefson and paolo from sepultura too.
