A great band, one of my favourites. I really like their solos, finest guitar wanking you can find, and they also have great melodies in them so it doesn't completely sound like mindless soloing. Herman Li and Sam Totman are great guitarists.

Simple is beautiful. Most of the good guitarist's aren't technical guru's. Jimmy Page, Albert Järvinen, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Angus Young, Slash, etc... They aren't the most technical players, but they sure kick the asses of Yngwie Malmsteen & Co. :)
