    Metal Instumentals

Hmm...I didn't make this list; I merely copied it from someone else's post. I haven't edited anything (even though I could make a few edits here and there). Everyone, feel free to add in anything you think of! The more metal instrumentals, the better!

    Metal Instumentals

I dig metal instrumentals. They kick ass. A while back - about 6 or so months ago - someone posted a big-ass list of metal instrumentals. I asked for it about a month ago and no one had it. Well, I found it. Here it is: Megadeth – Into The Lungs Of Hell Iced Earth - 1776 Nightwish -...

    Look what I've found!

Yeah. Opeth will be on their third lead singer and playing some really gay, radio-ready rap-metal and you'll have that big 'O' on your neck. ;) Actually, Opeth is never going to become a crappy band.

is anyone actually using the chat?

I use it...I like the sound of one man chatting.

    Porcupine Tree...

Hey, I saw that video..."Strip The Soul" from their "In Absentia" album. I liked the song so much I bought the album. Brilliant!

    beautiful,beautiful singing on master's apprentices

Right now, "The Master's Apprentice" is my favorite song on "Deliverance". I love that middle section with the clean vocals and the "aahs. Just as you are lulled into that tranquil place in your mind you get hit square in the gut. Love it!

    Best Opeth Guitar Sound (distorted)

"Blackwater Park". with "Deliverance" running a close second.

label opeth: let's play this game?

Sure they can: international horsey rock!

if opeth is NOT your favourate band... what is?

Van Halen: all eras, all albums.

    Beginning of "Deliverance"

The beginning of "Deliverance" - the song, not the album - sounds like "Nothingface"-era VoiVod. Anyone else?

What do you do when ppl tell you that Opeth's music is good but the vox suck?

I use a strategy that I've used before: ease 'em into it. I let them hear "Harvest" and "The Drapery Falls" a few times. After a while they get used to the death vox. It's worked now every time but once (he was hopeless).

    To new Opeth fans.

As far as my pre-Opeth heavy music goes I listened to Dimmu Borgir, Slechtvalk, Antestor, Emperor and Kekal. However, death/black metal is not my favorite type of music.

    Metal Instrumentals

A while back (April or May?) there was a thread which had a list of metal instrumentals. Did any of you happen to have that list - or any other list - of metal instrumentals? If so, please post it. Thanks.

    Audiogalaxy... Gone!?!

Random thoughts: I believe everyone deserves to get paid for what they create, no matter how small or big they are or how much of a sell-out I might think they are. I have always equated peer-to-peer file sharing with the underground tape trade but it seems to have turned into something...
