They're heavy metal imo.... man, the term power metal didn't even exist when maiden already had 3 or 4 albums out... and lets not start with judas, they're older than maiden I agree with xymphony, helloween invented power all by themselves.

Iron Maiden made a song based on Frank Herbert's Dune, and it's one of my fave songs. I don't know if the band likes this kind of sci fi, but I think a whole album covering the complete Dune saga could be great.
