Demon Of The Fall: Opener or encore?

Definitely an encore. At the Orlando show. I used the Drapery Falls as a time to go hit the bathroom. It's not that I really dislike Drapery. But, in its entirety, I find it a really boring concert song.

    The DTS 5.0 mix

Oh, I hope Steven Wilson would never come back and record any more Opeth records. Those were my three least favorite opeth albums; which is odd, considering how much I love Porcupine Tree. But, if Wilson does have masters of those three records... I'd love for him to remaster them in an MLP...

who wants karma on the next tour?

When I was drinking with the band at Margaritaville in Orlando, I asked Martin and Mike if there was a chance they'd include Karma on the next tour.

    Stupid Threads and Negativity!

Here's the thing. I can sit here and argue all day long why I think Blackwater Park is Opeth's worst album and why Watershed is so much better than BWP. However, it's an opinion. ...and for the most part, there's a lot of freedom over opinions on a forum. I really like Watershed as an album...

    Watershed - Questions - New Fan !!

My buddy called me around 12 - 1 am a month ago and asked me to turn on 98 Rock in the Tampa Bay area. He said, "I just got in my car and this band sounds like Opeth. Is it them?" I flipped over to my radio and sure enough, Demon of the Fall was playing. I was shocked at two things. One, my...

    Watershed - Questions - New Fan !!

I thought he was using the GH100L Laney head. I also know he owns the Fender Roc Pro 1000 head. He also owns some laney combos.

Why does Orchid never get any love?

I disagree as well. Morningrise was a solid album from start to finish. But, Orchid was a much more powerful album. There was more diversity on it, with the two intstrumentals. The only thing Orchid lacked was the cleaness of To Bid You Farewell. Even though (and I'm in the minority of this) I...

How Many Records Have Opeth Sold To Date?

My guess lies somewhere between, "more than one and less than infinity."

    When

On October 21st? Kinda sucks it's on a Tuesday, but HELL YEAH!!! I should be there. I'll buy tix when they go on sale. I'm freakin' excited that they're going to play HoB again! Hard Rock Live sucked, except for getting to drink with the band at Margaritaville! Anyways, I've only seen the...

That's an easy question and easy answer for me. Dream Theater - Metropolis Part 2: Scenes from a Memory. In Mike's case, I'll seventh it for eagerly awaiting a response!

Mötley Crüe - Saints of Los Angeles f'n rocks!

Seriously, I had very low expectations for this record. But plain and simple, Saints of Los Angeles is an amazing album. It's my second favorite album of the year. I'm pleasantly surprised!!!
