The studio diaries and documentaries are definitely one of my favorite things that any band can do. Good to get a feeling of knowing a band whom you respect and enjoy so much.

Still Life was my starting point and it still stands up as my favorite release. Dreamy guitar harmonies ringing out all over the background and just the most exceptional somber mood. The music is like the illustrations for the story told in the lyrics. Amazing.. </>gush

From what I've heard so far, and having heard him live, I'd say Axe is an amazing addition to Opeth.. But it'll take more than one amazing performance to trump all that Lopez gave to Opeth.
