Every guitar tone is going to be different. But I generally find I'm cutting between 2-4khz with pod farm, depending on the cab I'm using.

The updated mix sounds much better IMO. Still not quite there though. The guitars sound a bit dark, and the bass could use a little more attack/high end. Nice improvement though http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/images/smilies/headbob.gif

I started with the Cracky Metal Kit, and used Kick 10, Snare 1A I think (not sure without checking), and the maple toms. For the guitars I highpassed at 80hz and lowpassed at 12khz. I can't remember which cab I used for the bass though.

Thanks for all of the feedback! The bass was programmed using one of Logic's preset basses into Pod Farm. At 0:40 the guitars have both delay and reverb. Guitars were pod farm, diamond plate head, 4x12 treadplate off axis 57, some eq cuts at 7khz, 4khz, 2khz, and 800hz I believe. Not 100% sure...

Which frequencies are you cutting Josh? I usually find myself cutting lots of 4k and 800 when using the condenser. If I'm using the off axis those numbers change a bit

The guitars were just through podfarm using the diamondplate head and the treadplate 4x12 cab with the condenser. Also used the screamer in front of the amp Cut deep at 4khz, cut some 800hz too and I ended up boosting 3db at 6k I believe. Limiter on the guitar bus and that's pretty much it
