ya.. keep the levels around -18dB... if you feel the volumes too low while tracking.. bring the levels up on your monitors.. This would give you enough headroom and your ME would love you for it..

Thanx for the feedback mattayus... I did Low Pass it at 11 KHz... Didn't touch the EQ for any other tonal balancing... Was trying to get a true tone without fiddling much with the EQ... I think I'll take your advise of putting it down in a song or a riff with drums... It did sound a little harsh...

Which amp are you using for re-amping? can you post the recorded samples for both.. reamped and playing straight through the amp.

I'd say it's the guitar. PRS does have have a very smooth rounded tone.

Remove the damn sub-bass. It'll never let your mixes get loud. Plus a good mix is essential here. :)
