Thomas is one of the most underrated bass players in rock history and general history too. His playing on those albums was nothing short of amazing and his songwriting was strong too.

I always thought Vai's sense of humor was kinda dry. It seems he tries to be Frank Zappa too much sometimes but lacks his sense of humor. Not surprising, since Zappa had plenty of it!:lol: :)

Adrian Vandenberg has solo stuff?? Hm. I've only heard a thing or two by Gilbert, but he sure can play.

They are good, but too depressive so I generally steer away from their stuff. If you listen to OK Computer every day for a week, you just might end up committing suicide!:rolleyes:

I think it's real clever of SX not to be overly active like, say, Dream Theater. Releasing albums every second year really isn't a wise thing to do if you are no longer in your heyday. That's not to say SX belong to that group, but I think it's really good that they take their time and take it...
