Grab the E570 and be done. Best pre I have ever owned/played through. It's a beast.

Big fan of the JJ's here. Have them in everything bar the E570 (getting around to it soon) and haven't had a complaint yet. Perfectly fine for death metal tones. Tried a few EH's and couldn't wait to get them out quick enough, it was akin to turning your boost on/off, if ya know what I mean...

Love the Maxon 808 with the 5150, 6505+ and teh Mesa rectifier. But my Peavey XXX seemed to fair better with the Ibanez 808 re-issue, go figure! Now, as for my Engls, they hate the both!
