I use the end knuckle of my finger next to my little finger to get artificial harmonics, I've found it alot easier than the thumb thing. It hits the string about an inch from the pick and I find it very reliable. It's not what they tell you to do in guitar books though.

I liked the music, it was really metal, but I didn't like the vocals. I reckon other people will like the vocal style though. I was expecting some doom metal with that name. Good work.

I know rock hell was a different direction and a band finding their own sound is important. But I still hate Rock Hell. I had a listen to Chaosbreed and wasn't too impressed, it's better than anything I could do, but it didn't have anything new to offer metal.

Classification is unnavoidable. People do go a bit mad with it though. I would be happy with just a few broad fields just so I knew what bands I would probably like, isn't that the purpose of giving everything a label?
