Have no idea whether he plays anything or not, but generally, as long as you have some solid knowledge of music theory, you can compose music on computer (midi sequencing, Garage Band program, or other such things), and not actually play it on anything. Although being able to play an instrument...

I had. Eve is totally anti-WoW... Well, it's pretty much against all mmorpg standards. And that's what makes it cool, imo. The best parts are: a) no grind, b) you can lose anything you have, c) the game is HUGE, and there's a hell lot of things to do, too. I paused my subscription in Eve...
