    PP5 Pos Setlist

I definitely remember them playing it because it's one of my favorite songs by PoS and I loved hearing it live!!

ProgPower USA DVD Easter Eggs Hint

Haha! The best fan of the year award was hilarious and it was my honor to stand beside you the 2nd night and discuss how much we love Manowar and Rhapsody!

    BEST Keyboardist of the weekend

I second that vote, although it was a thrill to finally see the great Jens Johansson in action!

Do Metal Bands Have a Day Job?

I was talking to Khan about this and he said he has been able to live completely off music for about 4 years. It's not a luxurious lifestyle by any means, but he said he can live comfortably.

    Greetings from ORPHANED LAND!!

I was so looking forward to both of your sets this weekend and each one completely blew me away!! You guys met and exceeded all of my expectations. Mabool is definitely one of my favorite CDs. The whole package (music, lyrics, artwork) is so well done and it's one of the very very few CDs...

Queensryche Karaoke Singer?! Did anyone hear this Thursday????

Holy shit, she was incredible!! When I first saw the metal karaoke, I thought it'd be a joke, but she hit the staeg and just slayed! If she's not in a band, it's a crime. Oh, and I have no clue who she is.

    Cancellation at the Granada!

I've stayed at the Granada every year since PP4 and can say nothing bad about it. The staff has always been exceedingly friendly and the free internet is sweet... as is the free breakfast. Of course I won't mention the fact they gave our room away for PP3 and we had to stay at a hotel 20...

    THERION - Minneapolis review ... and set-list!

Yes, he definitely was. I was lucky enough to chat with him for awhile and he's a really cool guy. He talked about his time with Malmsteen and their tours through Japan. He did an amazing job with Therion. I imagine it's a fairly easy gig for him since he probably only sings about 50% of the...

    Apocalyptica

I love 'em! I have everything they put out, but I highly recommend the 2 CD version of Cult. The 2nd CD has a couple songs re-done with vocals and I think they're two of the best songs they've ever done. I also highly recommend their live DVD. It's amazing how much energy they put into their...

    Into Eternity absolutely slays Edmonton

Totally KILLER show tonight!! All the guys seemed to be in top form, especially Rob, considering he had pneumonia. Stu tripped a couple times on Troy's cord, which always made Troy laugh. After one trip, Stu said he was gonna buy Troy a longer cord and then Tim looks over at Stu and said...

    New Helloween Single Info Announced

I quite enjoyed RDCE. But I must say the new Masterplan absolutely kills it. It's a damn shame that they couldn't be had for PPVI. I will keep my fingers crossed for VII.

Tea Party as a Prog Band??

Being from Canada, they come to my city usually at least once a year and I've seen the 5 times. Good band to be sure, but I'd much rather see more traditional Prog/Power bands at the festival.

Therion USA tour schedule - Insane!!!

Therion in Edmonton??! That's insane in of itself! It'll be like a ProgPower pre-show! And it'll be early in the tour so they won't be excrutiatingly tired. I just fear not many people will show up. I'll hope for at least 100, but who knows.
