New song http://youtu.be/dokIQOKxKSc Sounds like "Heartwork" era. Reminds me of the song "Carnal Forge".

if you don't have a DAW, download Reaper. AFAIK it's free (?). Make sure you're input isn't clipping. Also, buy a popshield. Then.... practice, practice, read, experiment etc...

    Megadeth - Super Collider

Endgame was the last good album by them and I put that down to Andy's involvement. "13" is mostly b-sides and old throwaway tracks (contract filler) plus it fucking sucks. Of all the comeback albums by Dave, System and Endgame are the only good ones. Dave's vocals are shot, there is no guitar...

    R.I.P Jeff Hannemann

Here's Kerry Kings response to Jeff's passing. What an utter horrible cunt!! ".....the show must go on". I hope Tom walks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ii71xc400E&feature=youtu.be

Gar Samuelson also. This is fucked up. RIP Jeff, at least I got to see them live about 10 times.

Post the last film you watched and rate it out of 10!

Evil Dead (2013) - 8/10 Definitely up there with Raimi's originals, enjoyed it for what it is and about the best of the "remake" trend. Cabin in the Woods 1/10 Plain shit. Avoid, beyond ridiculous. The Lat Exorcism 5/10 again, started out promising and descended into utter shit...

That's all down to the talent of the musicians. The playing on Heartwork is incredible. Bill especially, is a criminally under-rated guitarist. Seen him play with Firebird too. Not slating Mike Ammott or anything but Bill is leagues above him.

Class. Ah they're a fucking great band and you can tell that they genuinely just love playing music. Was gutted when they split back in the day. Really looking forward to it, have a good feeling about it.

 What's it like Andy?? Go on, does it sound like any particular era??? Bill is one of the most laid back dudes going and well able drink too considering his size. Criminally under-rated guitarist too.

Care to explain yourself a bit further?? Or do you lack the basic grasp of the English language to read my comment correctly Mr. EffigyForgotten?? Suffocation "clones" NOT Suffocation. If you wanna call me a fucking retard for no reason, at least provide a bit of information, a bit of substance...

You are talking about 2 completely different genres there and it holds no relevance to the original point made. I agree with Bill's statement in that nowadays extreme metal bands rely too much on chugging on their respective low string as opposed to having "riffs". Carcass always had riffs, as...

No harm either. Older death metal is best. More genuine sounding instead of the millions of Suffocation clones polluting the scene. Can't wait for this!! :Smokin:
