This album absolutely rocks! So catchy and full of classic style fc songs! It's much more along the lines of Circle of life and Eternity. I was waiting for more of the pop rock stuff like rockin radio, but each song surprised me by being classic epic fc style!
As a fan I still feel sad about the news. But I think I'm also in shock! In truth, it will take a while to sink in. I mean, we have more shows to look forward to, rehearsals, so for us... the quest is still going on!!
But after the last shows and the last practices with these guys then...
Colin here. Thanks so much to all of you for your comments, it means a lot!
Nobody rides for free! Unless you have big CD sales, it's not easy for a metal band to survive outside of mainland Europe. In mainland Europe you have easy access to the main touring routes and venues, and you can...
Really loving the new song!! It rocks...
I didn't like the last album really, apart from the usualy classic Weiki songs. It was all heaviness but no melody imho...
Just back from a band practice weekend, and I can tell you we are all really fired up for this upcoming tour!!! Really great weekend and the new setlist rocks... I'm even getting my speed fix. But I can't reveal anymore... you have to come to the gigs :)
Thanks a million for all the birthday wishes guys!! :D It was a great weekend even tho I had to work on my actual birthday - what the heck! We were lucky with really nice weather so I've been out in the fresh air a lot which is nice. It rains a lot here, so we enjoy the dry weather when we can...
Absolutely cannot wait for this tour, will be awesome!! FC are a really cool bunch of dudes to go on tour with.
Hope to meet more of you guys on the road
Yes indeed, I love Heavenly!
Dust to Dust is my favourite, Miracle is a classic :) Also love Virus, it's heavier but still has some amazing melodies.
Carpe Diem is a really great album also, but I think at times they overdid the Queen-copycat stuff.
Really enjoyed doing this gig, and also hanging out with some of you guys after the show!! Thanks to Kris for helping me out on the vocals :) I think you can even hear Kris in some of the video online where I put the mic into the crowd!
Eeek... very strange indeed! Always seemed like a band who enjoyed being together and having fun onstage. Definitely a shocker. Wouldn't say the label is too happy about this one with a big tour forthcoming, but I'm sure the hardcore fans will stick by the band. Isn't going to be easy for them...
Check out the song "We Rise" - it's some of the best Kiske since Keeper albums :D
Instant Clarity was also a really cool record tho, where Adrian Smith played along with Kiske.
Really looking forward to this!! Looking forward to hanging out with my bandmates on the Friday and Sat almost as much as the fest - we'll have plenty of laughs as always :loco:
