I don't know DTs music but would go to see Opeth

I'm afraid I don't trust anyone who says "OPETH ROX!!". why not ? they do in a different sub-cultural sorta way

The last two line in Blackwater Park 'cause they suggest emptiness , lonelyness, loch ness (joke) and generally that the whole place is f*cked up in a Slient Hill sort of a way. Which BTW I believe Opet should do the music for as the cover as reminds me of it very much

This shows how much I know, but I just like the music. No religous agenda and a contast of mellow & heavy. But just how many albums have Opeth and what are they. :hypno: I have Still Life, Blackwater Park and Damnation. But theres more I just don't know what they're called. ALSO...

I know nothing of background, the bands current situation etc. But the significance of her and the meaning of it all was OBVIOUS.

I cant [or couldn't] stand "Death Metal screams" (as I called them) but the more I listen to it the more it seems to fit in. I generally go for most anything with clear lyrics, but you can actually understand the songs.

Darkness vs Light Light [usually] 2d people, predictable Dark [not necessarily evil]; less 'flat', have more realistic qualities, aren't flawless. That's the appeal of darkness; power, but can you control it or will it slip ? ?

Why was damnation a bad start ?

I've only listened to 'Damnation' and I like it, can anyone recommend another Opeth album to listen to ?
