Steve Vai and John petrucci are nu-metal now? Oh dear, they won't be best pleased with this tragic news. Anyway, what songs did they use these guitars on? They obviously tuned down to C or dropped C for a couple songs, but I can't hear anything lower than that.

I think the reason you're getting negative feedback on the vocals is because they're out of tune and slightly offbeat. Could the vocalist hear himself loud enough in the mix? It sounds like the guy might just need a bit of practice or train a better ear for the notes he should be hitting...

They put a bit of distortion on it in Needled, it's like the effect when you shout too loudly into a little tape-recorder microphone, or drive a megaphone too hard. It's a very dance-musiccy effect:) (English and French might know Muse, they do it a lot)

It's missing sweep-picking:) It's also missing a lot of the little "twiddly" bits that used to fill CoB music, and solos that are in the right key, and classically-inspired riffs. In short, it's Slayer with keyboards. Don't get me wrong, Slayer are a good band, but CoB aren't a good Slayer...

The vocals sound a lot like the first guy who did vocals for sentenced (I personally thought he sounded a shitload better than their current vocalist). They go a bit out-of-key in places, but aside from that minor niggle, you guys sound great:) When's the album coming out?:)
