    Vintersorg DVD

More than a DVD i hope Vintersorg is going to do a proper tour after the new album is released, but one shouldn't hope of too much. ( if he does one it's a minor task filming the spectacle for DVD if he would satisfy himself with number of cameras less than the number of decimal of pi.)

    42

Gyllene snittet-minimering/Golden ratio-minimization is the best way to do a linear search over an interval of a (preferably) convex function, you just "half" the interval with the golden ratio, and it converges much faster than just if you half it all the time. Which is intresting and boring...

How as Mr. V influenced your life?

Besides the musical inspiration I am of the opinion that Vintersorg is a great naturelyricist (naturlyriker alltså), filling me (and hopefully other listeners) with a sense of nature's beauty and mystic, which is no small feat in these modern times. Hopefully he will continue to enrich...

Thus End the Dark Legacy of Dissection

Everyone likes to whine about "Reinkaos" despite that it's an great album, i hope those who constantly nags about his criminality and don't/didn't like Dissection because of that don't listen to the following black metal bands (by obvious reasons); Mayhem, Burzum, Gorgoroth, Emperor, SCUM, Blood...

    How is Taake?

It's still not called a mouth harp, it's a Jew's Harp if anything, why not just call it a "mungiga" since no one outside scandinavia will never see one, nor use it.

    How is Taake?

Maybe because that you are not in so close contact with the traditional nordic culture. The "mungiga" anchors the song firmly in norwegian soil and tradition, as it is an very old instrument, someone less daring in musicianship might not have used it.

    How is Taake?

Its called a "mungiga" for an english translation: http://lexikon.nada.kth.se/cgi-bin/sve-eng gives: Svenskt uppslagsord mungiga mungigan mungigor subst. ett folkligt musikinstrument Engelsk översättning Jew's harp And a reply to those (mainly americans I notice) who...

    Vintersorg's new album?

I am not concerned about who is going to play what on the coming Vintersorg-album; why? 1. Because so far mr V has proved to his listeners that he can play and record different types ( or aspects) of metal, and i believe that he wouldn't make a bad record out of anything that he decides is good...

    Asatider

Djöfull: Im gonna try too get a hold/see those movies in some way, thanks for the tips. The excerpt that was used in the movie was actually not in one piece, "Drepum þá!" was first (Grim) and then Allir um borð!" when the other side fled. Yeah, you have right its rather...

    Einstein quote and Vintersorg connection.

One needs a universe with some decent laws to have a nice room ;( Preferably one in which you don't forever die (and not roast in hell also) Because of my outright bad english I'm hoping for a explanation of "platonic solids". Is there some evidence which support this hypothesis? If, not...

    Einstein quote and Vintersorg connection.

Now that we discussed this thoroughly maybe we can discuss some more intresting things, like knowledge, the fabric of the universe or some other thing, otherwise this thread will have to be put out of it's misery

    Asatider

The 5 seconds or so of "Asatider" from the "Till Fjälls"-album is from the Swedish-Icelandic co-production of Korpen Flyger ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087432/ ) isn't it? Do you still like those movies Vintersorg? ( I think they are great, but hey! that's me) To the forum-readers; see...

I think she suck, but that is my personal opinion (not to disrespect anyone who thinks otherwise, i hope)

    Einstein quote and Vintersorg connection.

Even Einstein thought of a limit to the human knowledge, i can think that he meant the time of mankind given, and the planck length which is the smallest resolution we can observe nature, and Schrödingers uncertainty principle. My limitations i haven't explored yet, so far i have...
