i have to give big props to LISTENABLE as well..probably my personal favorite label right now. laurent puts out great stuff.. my god the TEXTURES cd is fucking amazing and i'm pissed i didn't discover that band, amazing cd. plus, IMMOLATION is perphaps my favorite DM band...can't wait for...

don't forget the CAPHARNAUM cd which is one one of the best tech/progressive death metal cd's in ages. i am years and years away from competing with relapse sales wise, but quality wise i think i am right there. we just don't have a band that has gotten HUGE with huge sales and hell Willowtip...

a full length should be no more than 35 min for the type of music i release. a full length is about QUALITY not quantity and more songs (i think few labels today realize this), especially for grindcore. no grindcore album should be over 30min. you won't see a grindcore/deathgrind, etc album...

capharnaum is one of the best technical/progressive death metal releases in years IMO. extremely technical, amazing unreal solos... insanely catchy, great production. best technical dm release since Necrophagist i think.

i don't think i could have put out any more varied releases as i did this year. every cd was a different genre within the metal realm (though some still tend to think its all grindcore).
