why do you use an old d4 for your triggered drum sounds. there are so many other ones that have better sounds ( in my opinion ) on the market. the other alesis dm5 , dm pro , ddrum brains , even yamahas have newer updated sounds . some actually sound good. just asking out of curiosity.

Was it recorded on adats , tape , or digital ?????? i like the sound, its sounds kinda grainy yet still very tight.

i've played with both, gene has more of an open kinda airy feel, while richard plays really tight, as in always on the high hat.
