Has the built in Cab Clone too which is a DI out and load box for the head. Pretty legit. My only concern is the EL-84 sound for thick metal tones. Prob over analyzing that aspect. Just need to play it!
For sure. I'm also curious because I want to nab a second inteface for my next laptop rig (that will more than likely only have USB). This way I can have one on the go and keep the TC konnekt 8 always at home.
In my search, I found a new contender  The Scarlett Solo. And it's only $99...
Thanks for the advice guys. I will convince him to hold out for something better. We've got some tube preamp DI's (he has an ART.. and I've got a Presonus TubePre) if we needed the DI thing (though I would like to get a nice transformer DI sometime).
I guess Focusrite really doesn't have...
Hey dudes,
The lead guitarist in the band I play bass for is a cheap bastard and doesn't want to drop proper coin on an interface for tracking solos for our upcoming EP (at least not yet...).
I would have suggested him to grab a 2i2 but I know that it clips with high gain pickups...
That's just ridiculous. That means I have to tweak each guitar twice and can't change L/R at the same time. I would rather make small changes to differ L/R after I have found the double tracked sound first lol.
Really annoying me that I can't figure out how to run it in stereo from one amp model in one instance of Revalver.
Clicked stereo on input, clicked stereo on the modules, even tried adding the panning module in the effects block...
I love my TightMetal. Got one when they first came out. Great back up or main tone through an IR or amp's FX return.
You need to find the right IR though because it can be a bit dark through some of them. I have a shitty webcam video on youtube through a Randall T2 power amp. Sounded...
