I know this is gay...BUT. The song "Angels Don't Kill" by Children of Bodom always reminded me of Goldeneye. Like the main riff...when I heard it I was like...hmm Goldeneye.

Well they re-united...partially, with a different lineup...and they are touring, so...yes. Technically they are active I would say.

I think it's a great album. Great originality. However, I don't think it deserves THAT much praise.

Sure Esoteric's sound isn't similar to Draconian or Candlemass, but it's still very much doom metal and it is a very very very dark, brooding, unique sound that I think anyone should lend an ear to anywho.
