As long as you are doing what you love... you will never be wasting your life. If you can look back and say you've acomplished something that mere mortals have not... then that's something. Just keep writing/singing/performing on your own if you have to, keep busy. That's the best way to proceed.

I saw Symphony X and Blind Guardian in Seattle back in Dec of 2002. Blind Guardian's tour bus kept breaking down and they had to cancel a few shows in Cali right after the Seattle show... I'm glad I picked Seattle to drive to, I almost drove to San Francisco and that was one of the canceled...

That's too bad... the official one kinda sucks because most of the members don't like Americans so I don't always feel very welcome. Oh well.
