Some larger venues here aren't bad about tickets. It's usually smaller venues and local shows at Pop's ("bigger venue") that have bands scrambling to sell tickets. In general, however, I agree that far to often there is clubs swindling bands out of money that they generate for the club.

your logitechs only are rated to 16kHz so that could be part of the reason the mp3 format does not affect you before anyone starts quoting their specs of 20kHz, that is not flat frequency response.

how do you compensate for a low pass filter. the data in the higher frequencies has be cut to the point of most of the data not being there. boosting the upper frequencies or running an exciter won't put the original material back in.

why 48kHz? are you making a DVD out of this project? it seems 44.1kHz would be smaller(easier to dl) and would be best for anyone wanting this on a cd afterward

I believe he is referring to the lows mids and highs. soloing just the lows and making sure that everything sounds clear. Then the mids, then the highs. I know of other engineers who have done this before, but I think it's more for people who aren't good at picking out frequency ranges and...

well, duping a track causes the 2 tracks to be 100% in phase causing the phasing issue of making the track louder. It does nothing to the partial or full phasing out of different frequencies.

I love it, maybe after more people hear this there will be a conscious effort to start writing better lyrics instead of good beats with lyrics that just fit a rhythm.
