As long as 002 support doesn't get dropped I'm cool. When I overhaul my rig it's not gonna be to another LE interface anyway.

And I'm glad about the new Mackie control surface, it means the Control Universal will be taking a price dive

On the one hand this is good news, in that my 002 isn't really going out of date yet. However, if Digidesign decides to yank support for the 002 before releasing something to deepen the chasm between the 002 and 003, then they will be revealing themselves as liars. Time will tell!
