Yeah, Milan's play-list was exactly the same as Treviso.
When I arrived at the Rainbow Club, Novembre were makin' the soundcheck so, a few moments after all them came outside and so I talked a bit with Giuseppe and Massimiliano. Unfortunately they told me that MATERIA was sold out and they had no more copies with them... First time I was gonna attend the gig of one of mine all time fave bands without having the original cd in hand, man!
There was also Paolo from Klimt 1918 - read the latest news on my fansite!
Novembre played abt 50 minutes and everything turned out great, even if it didn't seem that so many persons were into them. Me and the other guys from the front line made a lot of noize instead
I think that many arrived late or however that didn't know the new songs - or, worse, that they didn't like them... Or just like to relax during a gig... I don't, personally. I've been singin', screamin', bangin' my head, :hotjump: up and down all the time
.
The new bass-player is great, really! I prefer him to both Fabio and Alessandro, with whom I had seen playin' Novembre live before. Love his attitude and his playing.
Carmelo did a great job with all kind of vocals that night, would've never imagined.
Giuseppe gave me one of his sticks and even signed it at the end of the gig. He also tried makin' the old logo of Novembre.
Massimiliano... what can I say abt him? Finally this time I was between Carmelo and him, so that I couldn't lose any single note from his guitar.
I liked how some songs have been arranged for the live set, especially the final part of 'My starving bambina', with Massimiliano disturbing here and there. I think that when I recognized the riff of 'The dream of the old boats' and Carmelo announced this song, I should've screamt sooo loud that you could've heard me from Sicily, ha, ha, ha. That song's always had a huge effect on me.
I think it's been the first time the sound during a gig of Novembre was pretty good. I can't say the same of Katatonia, especially for the first 3 or 4 songs, when I couldn't hear both guitars so well. Then it went better.
Blackheim wore the t-shirt of Novembre and I've read on a Peaceville promo-cd I had at the entrance that he said
'Novembre is so different and beautiful. Wow!'
After the show, I went to know the new bass-player. He told me that Novembre, further to the new songs already prepared for this tour, are probably gonna play another couple of new songs during their upcoming gig in Rome!
@ FEDERICO
Sorry, but I completely forgot your autographs from the guys of Novembre. When you drive approx. 3 hours and then you meet your long time friends, neverthless meet new guys, you forgot all the rest and just think to talk of a lot of things.
Now I go to see all the pictures posted from Treviso.
As soon as I got mine from Milan, I'll try to post 'em as well.
'UN APPLAUSO PER I NOVEMBRE!'
