#1 reason why WalMart rules

I live on an island with no Wal Marts (or chain stores period!), but damn I wish I could go to one now... that's fuckin cheap for such a good movie!

My grandma tricked me into going to Walmart when I was in Dallas last year. I hate that place and will never step foot in there again, I don't care how much they sell shit for. There's a reason it's so cheap and it's because people are getting fucked over.

Walmart is ruining the American dream.

edit: I've still never seen that movie :\

My marketing teacher made me watch it. For the most part all the documentary is mom and pops going out of business, and crying they can't ass rape you on prices anymore. A bunch of pansies christians bitching like usual. There I just saved you roughly an hour and a half of your life.

where else are they gonna hire this guy??? huh?? HHUH?

No. Rarely does anyone absolutely HAVE to do anything. Hell, even breathing is a choice, but the alternative tends to be unpleasant. But if one chooses to work there, one would think a responsbile corperation would be more responsible for treating its employees well.

yeah, but they don't. nothing any one of us can do about it, and many people shop there, so its not like boycotting it will work. I like to save money, so WalMart is where I'll buy my old low-priced DVDs <3

Yes. I'm sure the old foggies at the door work there because they don't have to. There is also no such thing as bills...

Wal-Mart doesn't just undercut prices, they sell lower quality wares. You can buy a shovel at wal-mart for $10, or a $30 shovel at Wally's hardware here in town, and Wally's shovel lasts 20 years. I broke the Wal-Mart shovel the same day. Ask any manufacturer, Wal-Mart wants cheaper quality wares to sell at their lower prices. Mom and Pop give you quality at the higher price. So, BlueSky, a legion of $10 shovels that break that day, or say, an $80 mower that breaks in the same year? Or more for a product that actually lasts? Plus REAL customer service. I swear the local store clerk was ready to give me an oral servicing while I was shopping for shovel and axes. Fuck Wal-Mart.

I don't know if you know this but recently walmart has changed their tactics and started buying higher quality items as well, which in all reality might alienate their cliental. Plus I don't go to walmart for higher quality items I go elsewhere. I think the fault lies strictly on the American all or nothing ego. For example It's ok to shop at walmart but if you want higher quality just go elsewhere.

Here's the thing, they put small business out of business and in return employ a shit load of people even people no one else will hire. If other businesses want to stay in business they need to work on specialty items. Walmart stores are so big they are able to buy in bulk and save the people money. They're a publically owned company which is only good for the American people. The items are made in other countries, and even though they aren't payed shit they would still starve otherwise. Chances are you work at walmart because A. You have nothing to offer B. You're younger C. You're an old fogy that no one else would even think of hiring. Now I have yet to hear any conclusive evidence on why the bad outweigh to good more than any other company around. If it wasn't walmart it would be something else.

true wal-mart horror story
i went to wal-mart to buy a CD player, when i got to the huge wall of CD players i bought the most expensive one, (aprox 20 times more expensive than the cheapest one) my thinking here was that the more expensive it was, the longer it would last, so i get this riduculously expensive CD player home and it comepletey stops working in less than a week, after that i go to one of those cheap Arab-run "dollar" stores, i got a CD player for only $10 and it lasted a whole 2 years
apparently wal-mart's cheaply priced products are cheaply made

oh, another non-fiction story! shut the fuck up.

wait
if you said "shut the fuck up" sarcastically, then i could understand the humor, but if you actually read my post, you would see that all i did was tell a story that was backing up somone else's POV in a argument, so that post was prolly the LEAST offensive post i've ever made on ultimatemetal
