Let's see here. Some of my real favorites:

Electrocution 250 - "Electric Cartoon Music from Hell"
Event - "Scratching at the Surface"
Anti-Depressive Delivery - "Feel, Melt, Release, Escape"
Archetype - "Dawning"
Chain - ".exe"
Transmission - "Id, Ego, and Superego"
Cirrha Niva - "Liaison de la Morte"
Flametal - "The Elder"
X World 5 - "New Universal Order"
Six Magics - "Behind the Sorrow"
And So I Watch You From Afar - "Gangs"

Guess I could have included something from Fat Mattress, Ultimate Spinach, or The Fluorescent Leech and Eddie, but I really didn't want to show my age like that.

Mr. Pelata - That's funny. I lost an auction for Oracle - Selah on ebay awhile ago. I think I've got K-Octave as mp3s somewhere.

dgn - I have both Headstone Epitaph disks. Very cool underrated power metal. On the negative side Dream Child is one of the worst power metal albums ever sorry! :)

Comic book dude - I like and own Syris - st. Spirit Web is another that I like in that style.

Lots of tips for Lemur Voice whose album i used to own. I guess it didn't float my boat in the end.

Batmura - I haven't heard Bir from mezarkabul that I recall. Might try to find a link in awhile.

A few people mentioning Harrow disks. I used to own Pylon of Insanity. I used to quite enjoy it but it had to bite the dust in the end as I moved on.

Winters Bane "Heart of a Killer"
Static "Patterns"
San Voisen
Midnight "M"

Theres a ton of relatively obscure titles that could be put here. I agree with The Quiet Room, I believe Mercury Rising was listed here, how about Villain with Carl Albert? Zen "Gaze Into The Light" was amazing! Empty Tremor 1st 2 discs were good, Fragile Vastness & Wastefall from Greece were great...The list goes on forever

Fragile Vastness & Wastefall from Greece were great...The list goes on forever

and good news to go with that, Wastefall is reforming!

From their website:

"Wastefall Reunion

After a long time of absence, WASTEFALL ARE BACK!
We are more than glad to announce that Domenik returned from Exile and Alex decided to abandon hie Haven.
The only difference is that we decided to recruit Tassos Loukos behind the drums, since Kostis is still in Exile.
Apart from that, the members remain the same.
See you really soon and stay tuned for more updates.

(12/2010) "

Aztec Jade -- anything by them
House of Spirits -- Turn of the Tide
Digital Ruin --- Listen
Madsword --- The Global Village
Vauxdvihl --- To Dimension Logic
Siam --- Prayer
Sunblaze --- Illuminating Heights
Soul Cages --- Moments
Hydrotoxin -- Oceans
Zen --- Gaze into the Light

Not the original.

If it was one with the purple cover, that was a split with another band (Emerald) and the "remaster" job was atrocious.

Divebomb Records reissued Selah along with our 4-song cassette demo and 2-song demo recorded after I left as one complete package called Desolate Kings: The Oracle Anthology...Jamie King (BTBAM) remastered that version from my original CD and it sounds amazing...

IF you're interested, that is...:D

Pimp that thing! Matt would be proud!

It's actually a really nice reissue.

Cool thread - finding out about some great albums (and a blast from the past. I guess I was not the only one that has heard of Sunblaze or Lemure Voice!) I've seen that Vauxdvihl album turn up in a few lists, so I had to see if I could find and listen to it. Good luck trying to find a copy of that album anymore!

I'll play along, I got some fairly obscure stuff in my collection, but these are some of the more recent ones that stands out in memory and that I really enjoyed and thought were some of the best I've heard (in no particular order):

Introitus - Elements
Sphere of Souls - From the Ashes
Amartia - Delicately
Fools Game - Reality Divine
Odin's Court - Human Life in Motion
Ascension Theory - Answers
Keldian - Heaven's Gate
Vox Tempus - Eye of Time
Orion Riders - A New Dawn
Lydian Sea - Architect of Humanity

EDIT: I know this is going beyond the 10, but I also want to add:
Orenda - A Tale of a Tortured Soul
Ynis Vitrin - The Sad Art of Smiling
Silent Lapse - Birthright

I could have went on with this forever, did not get S.A. Slayer and Liege Lord on there.

Blacksmith – Fire from Within 1989(now re-issued)
Glacier – Glacier 1985 (to be re-issued soon)
Commander – The High n’ Mighty 1987
Griffin – Flight of the Griffin 1984
Pantera – Power Metal 1988
Deaf Dealer – Keeper of the Flame 1986
Cerebus – Too Late to Prey
Hammeron – Nothing to do But Rock 1986
ESP – The Future is Now (could possibly be re-issued in the future ;)
Lords of the Crimson Alliance – s/t 1986

Listening to Deaf Dealer on YT and it sounds like early Maiden and quite a bit of Brocas Helm. Great shit though especially the vocals.

Listening to Glacier on YT and it sounds close to Deaf Dealer. The singer is much higher. They loved to gallop in the old days didn't they! I think I like Glacier more than DD. I just wish the production wasn't SO 80s as I'm not cult enough to appreciate that terrible sound! :)

ESP sounds cool. That band had some colossal hair! The song I listened to had another great galloping riff and bass roll. It seems if you didn't use gallop in the 80s you were the exception but nowadays not too many bands use gallop even Maiden hardly uses gallop.
