I finally bought this album about a year ago, after hearing it casually a few times. Even coming in after the fact, this album absolutely smokes and sounds fresh/new. And seriously, Book of Thel could very well be the heavy metal art form peaking.
I've listened to this album probably 500 times over the last 6 months. In fact, I have to say that with All Things Must Pass being my favoUrite Beatles album, this in turn is probably my favoUrite Iron Maiden album.
Hmm. Too much usage of the word "probably" in this post. I have to give up the gray area one of these days.
