there can be no distaste, only narrow minds suppressing diversity
While I whole-heartedly applaud an open mind, especially toward music and other art, that does sound like a load of bullplop. :loco:

That sounds like a pitch towards all the people who oppose Brokeback Mountain.

Enlighten minds suppressing mediocrity is more like it.

Holy fuck I'm still cringing from listening to cradle of faggotry years ago. One of the first bands I came across.

Seriously, why would anyone even waste their time listening to music they consider "not good, but not bad?". Wouldn't it be more sensible to listen to what you would deem "good"?

I'm all into new ideas and stuff, but brokeback moutain = :Puke:

no I haven't seen it (call me narrow minded now:loco: ), it just brings all the gay cowboy stereotypes stuff and that doesn't inspire me at all. But, if it gets so much praise, it must not be that bad hm?

Well, no doubt the movie is gay, but hardly anything is gayer than judging something before you experience it.
