It's for nothing too serious but my ears are tired and I'm not sure if I'm missing anything.

Let me know if all is right and what you think about everything!

Guitars: Amplitube, probably overdriven but that's okay :]
Bass: Shitty bass DI processed a bit
Drums: Superior, replaced some samples and shit.
Vocals: SM58! BROTAL

It hit's about -2 RMS at one point in the song. I piss myself laughing every time for some reason, just entertains the hell out of me.

Any by the way, I know it distorts to hell when those bass drops come in, but that's intended.
This is a song my guitarist, Brett, and I composed last night, recorded this morning, and I've spent all day fiddling with the mix.
Brett wanted the bass drops to just destroy everything.

[EDIT: All distortion, clipping, etc.. totally intentional.]

Dude what is wrong with you...back off the limiter, that sounds terrible. You're entire master bus is very noticeably distorting literally the entire way through the song, and not in any kind of cool way.

Well you're just plain wrong. Oh and your ears don't work. Back off the limiter if you have any sense of respect for your music and prodcution skills and re-post the track.

You don't measure RMS over the length of a song either - I seriously doubt this hits -2. I don't even know if I could make white noise get that loud.

Nothing's wrong with me.. the distortion, shittiness, and obvious clipping is ON PURPOSE. God damn!

Just for the sake of enlightenment, Brett and I get a kick out of it when bands go and self produce themselves, and they're really underground metal--sometimes they go for that "super unclean" sound to sound heavy, I guess?
We hear breakdowns in those bands with bass drops that duck the whole mix and everything just sounds terrible.
This was sort of an ode to those bands... and is why I spit shit everywhere when that -2 rms comes up.

I haven't listened to the clip but you have gone about this the wrong way.

most guys that try reach a ridiculously high RMS level are trying their best to get it there with no distortion, and then the bragging right begins.

so getting it to -2 WITH distortion is no mean feat and this post is essentially useless because any one could have done this.

not angry or anything just voicing my concern as to why would anyone would even slightly brag about this. It's the opposite of what guys try to do when hitting high rms levels.
