I know it is months prior to the season starting, but I've decided that I am going to start at the very least setting up the league for this year.

I need some input from you guys to determine how many will be participating, and suggestions for scoring rules as well as when you'd all like to do the draft.

I've already got everything, basically, down but I just need to know what the people here would be interested in me including.

I'll do the honors so that all the idiots on this website don't waste our time.

DUURRRRR DAT AINT FUUTBAWL DAT PUSSY SHITS WIT PADS N TINGS DUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

ALL U TALK ABOUT IZ SPORTS KD, JESUS YOU FUCKING SUCK

To anyone thinking those very same comments, allow me to retort:

1. Eat a bag of dicks. American football is better and everyone knows this.

2. I didn't start this thread you cock wrangler, so get over it.

Yes I'm down. ESPN?

^Get over yourself sweetheart...
American "football" (which is played with hands too... dunno why they still call it football tho) isn't better, and maybe only americans don't know that.

Yeah, I'm running it from ESPN. I think their set up is more intuitive than Yahoo's and the ability to track your players without paying for it makes it a ton better.

I've decided to give each team two IR slots, so if a player gets hurt long term you don't have to drop them only to have them come back and beast for the person you're up against in the playoffs haha.

Get the fuck out of my thread.

Anyways here is what I've got so far.

I'm in.

I don't understand having more than one QB starting.

I also don't understand having TD passes count for less. A td is 6pts period.

itt hexwind doesn't know that American football used to be played WITH FEET, HENCE THE NAME

Anyway, is an actual draft going to be involved or is it going to be auto pick?

Oh wow, I don't know why I didn't change that. Yeah, TD passes will be 6 points.

and yes, live draft. Probably not until like 2 weeks before the season starts so we don't draft a bunch of people who end up with season ending injuries during training camp or something like that.

I'm also considering adding in 3 defensive player positions: 1 defensive lineman, 1 linebacker, and 1 defensive back.

Thoughts on that?

I prefer Team Defense vs individual defensive players. There are not enough consistant individual players to go around, but their are enough decent overall defenses to go around.

Also again about the 2 starting QBs: Why?

Oh, I was in a league with two starting QBs last year and it was kind of fun. If you'd want it down to just one I'll make the adjustment.

@Ozz, actually the one league I was in with individual defensive players was a Yahoo league. I liked it because while they didn't often give you a lot of points, sometimes you'd have a Nick Collins INT go for six or something like that.

We'd obviously still have full team defenses just I'm considering adding in individual players.

I'm in. I'm not very active on these boards, but I am a very knowledgeable and active fantasy owners.

Here are my point of views for the scoring and roster sizes. I prefer one QB vs having two. I think passing TD's should be 4 not 6 because quarterbacks have more multi-touchdown games compared to other position and the QB becomes overvalued. QB WR WR WR RB RB WR/TE K TEAM DEF. Those are my opinions, but I'm willing to play with any rules.

I agree. I like Yahoo's interface, but ESPN is tits for free.

The IR thing is a waste of time. If someone gets put on IR they are done for the season, so there's no point even having an IR slot unless you want to start a keeper league.

I agree, the 2 starting QB thing isn't fun, I've done it before. If both of your stud QB's are on a bye week the same week, you're screwed. Not to mention, QB's already score a ton of points, this would only raise the stock of QB's and I don't like it.

I've played leagues with defensive players and it's a bit to much work honestly. 3 defenders I could see, only because you'd be targetting stud DE's, stud DB's, etc. Positions that rack up a lot of stats like sacks, ints, etc.

Well no, I mean like say you draft Marques Colston. He gets hurt, but you don't want to drop him because he'll be back later in the season. Instead of him taking up one of your bench spots, you can IR spot him and not have to have him taking up a roster spot.

Okay, I'll drop it to 1 QB.

Yeah, no way I'll do every defensive position just those three. It'll add a bit extra without causing too much trouble.
