If people come out to support this. There will be a 2013 show. Help spread the word so maybe we can see some of the bands on this list.

Lets keep it realistic. No one from out of the country asides Canada or Mexico. Keep it simple. No impossible reunions and stuff like that.

here is mine......

Skelator
Midnight Chaser
Halloween
Twisted Tower Dire
Fool's Game
Impaler
Split Heaven
Voivod
Striker
Omen
Amulance
October 31st
Shok Paris
Ruthless
Sign of the Jackal

Omen
Manilla Road
Fates Warning
Arch/Matheos
The Skull
Riot
High Spirits
The Gates of Slumber

And one to give Mike a stiffy............
KING DIAMOND!!!,

Best-case lineup has already been chosen. Several alternative are also lined up. I could have 2013 booked now if I had any idea how many will be showing up this year. We already have ten times more presales, but I doubt that mean we will have ten times more people show up. The "after holidays" presales have yet to pick up.

I would love to see WOLF.
Man, it's weird. That band, even though they have been active, has fallen off the metal radar.
There is so little talk of them.

isnt that crazy. They had that hype for a little bit and totally did nothing with it. Plus that last album was terrible.

Same goes with Grand Magus. Had lots of buzz but didnt do anything in the states.

Yeah, and DoomSword too! Also had a new album with zero mention.
I really have no idea.

Yeah, Roadrunner not officially releasing the Grand Magus album in the States was the most absurd thing ever!!!

That was at the tail end of the whole viking metal craze and during Amon Amarth's height of success.
The timing would have been perfect.

Ross The Boss
Psychotic Waltz
Dawnbringer
Vicious Rumors
October 31
Leviathan (the Denver band)
Slough Feg
Witching Hour (I don't know where they're from)
Hallowen
Satan's Host

And to plug a few local (to me, I mean) bands who might be down if they were asked:
Steel Assassin
Hessian
Seax
Armory

You may already know of Steel Assassin. They have been doing it for decades, but I have no idea if they are well-known outside of here, actually.
The others are new, young bands (younger than me, actually...damn it)

HESSIAN old school heavy metal/rock and roll.

SEAX Same as above.

ARMORY power metal, sounds like Edguy would sound today if Edguy were still power metal.

EDITED shitload of times because I was trying unsuccessfully to get the vids to embed. Oh well.

The same thing happened with the last Wolf album, which btw I'd have to disagree with Bob in it being bad. I still liked it quite a bit. Is it my favorite? Nah but they have a solid catalog. It is interesting though that Wolf seemed to be gaining popularity and then didn't do anything with it.

Nice suggestions and quite Doomy, which is what I'd expect from my friend Jasonic, lol!

I do want to point out, however, that among the band names I have read above at least MANILLA ROAD, ARGUS, TWISTED TOWER DIRE & SINISTER REALM are playing at this year's Warriors Of Metal Fest V Open Air on June 29th & 30th at the Frontier Ranch, 8836 York Road, Pataskala, Ohio which is just a 20 minute drive East of Columbus, Ohio. The tickets are on sale now at http://www.warriorsofmetalfest.com

You can see the current flier and the our online announcement for booking Manilla Road as one of our headliners at the following Crystal Logic Blogpost:

I hope to see the Chicago Doom Metal Legions at our Festival this year :) \m/
