I have a Line6 HD147 and its more than capable of pushing 4x 300 watt cabs...

now, my dilemma...

I found an immaculate Mesa 4x12 Traditional cab with V30's at a local pawn shop... for $250... yeah... I tested it out, everything works, I opened it up and I'm buying...

So... 300 watts... vs 280 watt cab...

Will I blow my speakers?

no worries, it'll do just fine. i've gigged with my hd147 though a laney 412 cab (300w rating) with the master around 6 or 7 i think, and with a framus cobra through the same cab, volume also around 6 or 7. no problems. that 300w rating the hd147 has is solid state, so it's pretty much the same as 100w all tube i'd say.

So, then using the HD147(300 watts) with a cab rated for 280 watts is ok? I wont blow the speakers?
