Just an incredible collection of new and reworked songs. Taken as a whole, this album just obliterates any other 2009 release for me.

I agree with Hawk on the number one for the moment, but I'm definately gonna check out that Heep. Could they make 2 superb albums in a row? Are there alot of new songs or mostly old reworked songs ??

There are 3 new songs but Heep have made 4 great releases in a row. Sea of Light, Sonic Origami, Wake the Sleeper and now Celebration. They also released a whole bunch of live dvd/cds between SO & WTS. :headbang:

I didn't hear Celebration yet, but for me, Sonic Origami was just good, far to be great, way too mellow. On the other hand, Wake The Sleeper and Sea Of Light are killer discs.

I'm a big fan of Heep and will definetly be buying this one. However, the whole "re-recording classic songs" has already been done by Heep in a 2 disc set called Uriah Heep Gold - Looking Back 1970-2001, which came out a few years ago.

Surely not for me...

The latest albums by HEAVEN & HELL, SAXON, LIONS SHARE, WOLF, PRIMAL FEAR and JORN are way better in my book.

But as most people seem to love Endgame, what can I say...

"Endgame" is great, but Wolf and Lion's Share are #1 and 2 in my list this year :headbang:. Primal Fear is doing fairly good, but Jornm H&H and Saxon came weak IMO.

The new Transatlantic is pretty good and might crack my top 10. Saxon & PF probably won't make my bottom 20. The new Brainstorm is flat and the new Slayer is ok but I think Endgame will come out on top. The latest Nile, Epica and Hypocrisy albums are getting heavy play now. Just waiting for W.E.T. !
