Wow.. that would be much to many :) .
I probably have like... 10GB of just Thrash on my Harddrive.. and that's not even half of what the world has to offer probably :OMG:

Well that is why a did it 5. To really see what you guys would choose.

This is not a "list your 5 favourite albums" or "the best 5 albums you think are...". But this is what you think everyone should own.. as it is a standard in Metal nowadays... or not. I took it down to 5 to prevent exactly this to happen.. that people would just post their favourite albums.

Really try hard and post the 5 albums YOU THINK everyone has to own or else they don't deserve respect :lol:

It seems as though you're one of the only ones :p

I'm a thrasher really, though some DM is pretty damn good, but not all of it makes me go 'wooo' I hear a lot of riffs that sound as though they've been lifted from thrash bands and put into modern DM, in a lower tuning with better production....

And I mostly only like late 80s/ early 90s DM, wayyy more thrash aswell :heh:
 
Dude.. i listen to some Death. Stuff like Necrophagist, Death, Cryptopsy, Obituary, Nile, Opeth etc. I am more of a fan of old-school death though.. so old Death, Obituary, Carcass (just borders the genre), Hypocrisy, Morbid Angel etc gets my vote. I really hate Gothenburg Death Metal though :s N*Flaymz, Dark Tranquillity etc.... yuk *puke*

My favourite genres must be Thrash and some Melodic Speed/Death Metal (Wintersun, Norther, Kalmah etc). Mainly the Bay Area scene though... Heathen, Testament, Metallica, Vio-lence, Megadeth, Forbidden and the list goes on and on. I've got like 10GB of Thrash albums though... so these are just.. the "bigger" bands I like.

I like a lot of old stuff, but im really into my technical stuff recently, been listening to a lot of Meshuggah, dunno if you can call them Death bu they definately do it for me!!

I just like it fast, complicated and aggressive :heh:

Which is why i like a lot of thrash too! Just havnt really heard as much.
