Glad to see theres some other DM fans :headbang:

I like a lot of old stuff, but im really into my technical stuff recently, been listening to a lot of Meshuggah, dunno if you can call them Death bu they definately do it for me!!

I just like it fast, complicated and aggressive :heh:

Which is why i like a lot of thrash too! Just havnt really heard as much.

Meshuggah = God

Catch 33 was amazing.

Heard of, not heard, ill check em out!!

Just had a listen.

Theyre ok... Dont really seem technical to me though. Pretty fast and aggressive.

Any fans of technical stuff should check out my band. If you like the stuff give us an add and tell us what ya think, would be appreciated!!
Theres no tracks up, but theres some stuff in the videos section, id reccomend 'Involuntary Abortion' :headbang:

The links in my signature.

Hmm, I don't think I can keep it to just 5 albums.. or 10.. here's a list of, er, several albums anyway:

My Dying Bride- The Dreadful Hours, The Light at the End of the World
Wintersun- Wintersun
Dissection- The Somberlain, Storm of the Light's Bane
Death- Leprosy
Megadeth- Rust in Peace, Killing is my Business... And Business is Good!
Burzum- Hvis Lyset Tar Oss
Metallica- Ride the Lightning
Ensiferum- Ensiferum, Iron
Pantera- Cowboys from Hell, Vulgar Display of Power
Slayer- Reign in Blood
Candlemass- Chapter VI
Machine Head- Through the Ashes of Empires
Immortal- At the Heart of Winter
Dream Theater- Awake

Death - Scream Bloody Gore
Iron Maiden - The Number of the Beast
Iced Earth - Night of the Stormrider
Megadeth - Rust in Peace
Slayer - Reign in Blood
Suffocation - Effigy of the Forgotten
Cannibal Corpse - Tomb of the Mutilated
Emperor - In the Nightside Eclipse
Akercocke - Words that Go Unspoken, Deeds that go Undone
Dying Fetus - Stop at Nothing
Dark Tranquility - The Gallery
At The Gates - Terminal Spirit Disease (sorry SoTS :p)
In Flames - Lunar Strain
Testament - The Legacy
Sepultura - Beneath the Remains
Annihilator - Alice in Hell
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Machine Head - The Blackening
Atheist - Unquestionable Presence
Morbid Angel - Altars of Madness

O shit that was more then 5 XD

But every one of those albums is AMAZING.

Emperor - In the Nightside Eclipse

Machine Head - The Blackening

In the Nightside Eclipse is an excellent album... but IX Equilibrium > Prometheus: The Discipline of Fire and Demise > In the Nightside Eclipse :D

...and The Blackening is just boring. Through the Ashes of Empires and Burn My Eyes are far better releases.

All a matter of opinion really :)

I really should listen to Through The Ashes of Empires more but theres somethings about The Blackening I really love :)

5 uh?..thats a hard one..
Clandestine - Entombed
Holy Diver - DIO
Morningrise - Opeth
The Armageddon Theories - Theory In Practice
Imaginations From The Other Side - Blind Guardian

If it has to be five, then:

Mastodon - Blood Mountain
Iron Maiden - Powerslave
Opeth - Blackwater Park
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Death - The Sound of Perseverance

Tried to make it broad, at least in the genres of metal I like.

And win for Theory in Practice, astronaut mattson. I really need to get more stuff from that band, I have far too little.

I think Through the Ashes of Empires is better, but I do like the Blackening

anyway

1. Black Sabbath - Master of Reality
2. Dissection- The Somberlain
3. Machine Head - Through the Ashes of Empires
4. Children of Bodom - HateCrew Death Roll
5. Testament - The Legacy

Theyre my top 5 most played aparently

Metallica-Master of Puppets
Fear Factory-Soul of a new machine
Carcass-Heartwork
Annacrusis-Screams and whispers
Vio-lence-Eternal Nightmare

extras:
Testament-Practice what you preach
Suicidal Tendencies-How will I laugh tomorrow
Dark Angel-Time does not heal
Anthrax-Persistance of time
Slayer-Seasons in the abyss
Kreator-Violent revolution
Sodom-Agent Orange
Flotsam and Jetsam-No place for disgrace
Sanctuary-into the mirror black
