OK, here are the results as of now. (I'll update this if anyone else posts their 5 favorite songs). Again, the point system I used was 5 points for your favorite song, 4 points for #2 and so on. A total of 17 Evergreyers gave their rankings, and we had a total of 33 different songs named (showing the diversity of Evergrey and how many great songs they have). The top 8 songs as of now are:

1) Darkest Hour - 27 points
2) Blinded - 23 points
3) A Touch of Blessing - 21 points
4) As I Lie Here Bleeding - 17 points
5) The Master Plan - 14 points
6) Visions - 10 points
7) The Great Deceiver - 10 points
8) Watching the Skies - 10 points

Odd that only two songs from ISOT are in there...but you have to factor in that there has been a large influx of newcomers just discovering the band, which is awesome...great to see this forum becoming among the more active on UM.
I agree about this forum becoming more active. I love discussing Evergrey! There's a great community of fans here.

Concerning the lack of ISOT songs in the Top 8... I think about this all the time... and I think ISOT may not be represented well in a "favorite songs" poll because the album is just so damn consistant... while "Recreation Day" seems to have easily identifiable high points and is more song-oriented

I definitely agree with you ProgMetalFan. It's a lot harder picking highlights from concept albums than it is for an non-concept album. Well, at least for me it is.

Agreed, although the songs in Evergrey's concept albums still stand out as independent compositions...

This is definitely a good point. As far as the songs are concerned there usually are highlights and such even though they're all connected to make to make the concept.

PS: Demonspell, I like your signature!
