sounds good man, i like it. just the low end is a bit "woofy" on those low palm mute notes.

As already said on the other thread, I dig the sound. Especially 'cause that's the setup I wanna have soon (as soon as the 5150III Mini gets available again here)

Any infos on the settings, mic position?

I will check out the settings when I get home. The mic was right on the center where the dust cap meets the cone. Room sucks, just a bedroom with carpet and drums sitting right in front about 5 feet from the amp. It was loud but not shaking the windows loud. Love this amp head, in the room it sounds more massive than I'm getting with the mic so still need to mess with mic placement.

6 gain
6 low
4 mid
6 high
4 vol
6.5 pres
10 res

I found that it still is really tight in the bottom with res on 10, makes the 2X12 sound more beefy like a 4x12

EVH 5150 3 50 Watt? Not sure cause you said Res... Which means resonance I assume??? I'm confused cause theres no resonance knob on an EVH 5150 3.

HAHA! My bad I have the 100 watt which has No resonance knob on back. I've never seen the back side of the 50 watt head. Thanks!
