64 bit + firepod = =(

So I just bought a new pc (64bit W7) and I'm trying to hook up my firepod, with no success. I switched my firewire driver to the legacy one and updated my firewire drivers. Am I missing anything here? I'd like to get this up and running by sunday so I can stop baking effects every 10 seconds. =\

Its really more of a Presonus thing than a Windows thing. My RME has a very similar "plug it the fuck in and turn it on" methodology.

it actually turned out to me my poor plugging in skills.. I wiggled the firewire cord near the input on the card and BINGO! there went 8 hours of my life LOL

Mine works fine. I don't understand what the issue was, I just installed the software as directed and it worked. Done.

Yeah, I can understand the frustration if you didn't have it plugged in all the way.

Yeah, I've used the firepod for a few months now and experienced no problem. I'm also on W7 64 bit. sorry I wasn't much help.
