6505+ reamping test

just did my first try with the new ENGL cabinet and reamped a riff.
What do you think? Please be honest. Is it to bassy?

Sounds really nice!! However it sounds great on it's own but kind of flat with drums. By flat I mean uninteresting. Needs some character, maybe a boost around 1,5 - 2k or something to make it stick out. But it's just personal preference.

It might be the drums not fitting in with the guitars.

I did a second one with another mic:

It sounds pretty similiar but a bit rougher, and i think its better. Unfortunately, i work from 13:00 to 20:00 o'clock this month, so i can't play loud and try different microphone angles. Which means i set the mic up without listening and then go with it

More opinions? If you think the tone sucks, tell me. I can live with that

I love the tone. Nothing wrong from what I am hearing
Those drums just sound nasty and don't compliment the sound... but I presume you are just asking only about the guitars?

Yeah the drums are just an eZ Drummer preset to cover up my crappy playing.
But to be honest, i did not notice the drums were so bad. I will definitely change something there.
