Yeah Carcass are very good but if you get a chance listen to Deicide's new one.... that Best of CD you 2 have were released without the band's permission or to fill out there label contractual obligations... so you could imagine that the real "best of" wasnt put on that CD...
I bought the best of because it was the only cd that had Bastards of Christ on it :) its my Fav Deicide song

I have a CDR of their disc Once Upon the Cross...
That record blows. I used to have the original, but burned me a copy,
just in case I wanted to hear some 2nd rate shit & sold the original....
I wouldn't recommend that record...
I though it was funny, where the singer who has an inverted cross, between his eyes. I think it's a scar, was talking in an interview in PIT Magazine, about how
he celebrates X-Mas with his kids & how how traditional it is. Yet, the guy a few moments earlier was talking about he hates religion?! That all an act don't you think? I think the guys that I would be more afraid of are these bands from Europe. I think if they claimed they are Satanic, I would take thier word for it. I think, the U.S. black & death metal bands are about as real as Marilyn Manson. All made up to appear what they really ar not...
Now if a band from Norway, says they'll boil you alive & then eat your brain directly from your skull, I would buy it & run like hell...

I never seen him mention anything bout X Mas in magazine interviews other then disgust for such things lol ... as for his inverted cross on his forehead.. he had that "branded" much like you Brand cattle on a ranch.. as for the bands in Norway.. i try not to take there idealism serious.. but yeah some of it does sound scary when you hare them talk bout it lol but i seriously think most of them just use it for scaring people then actually believing in such things.. but I still listen to some of the bands regardless because Norway seems to have very good BM bands... then other countries....

Christmas through the ages has turned into a materilaistic holiday. Not all the ppl who put up christmas trees and give gifts to friends and family do it to celebrate the "birth of christ". Glen Benton is one of the few ppl that I believe actually follow a left-hand path from America. Among the others I actually believe would be John Lennon ( who is a born-again Pagan, yes I know hes from England), King Diamond, and Phil Anselmo( who is a Heathen, lives his life by The Satanic Bible but doesn't believe theres a god or satan).

He describes how he got that done on the Deicide dvd that comes with Scars of the Crucifix. It's a scarification that he did himself. He had to do it 3 times for it to look right, and show up.
