89 in the bridge?

Very good. I had one in my Edwards for a few years. It's fat, clear, and tight, and the single coil mode sounds awesome.
Where would you put it compared to an 85 or 81. I prefer the 85 over the 81,but wish it was a little clearer

Fucking love it. It's the PERFECT blend of an 81 and 85! Not as metallic or anemic as the 81, but not as muddy and loose as the 85. You get the low end tightness and low-mid clarity of an 81 with the organic fatness of an 85.
