Hi, everyone this is my first post, I am a new member. I switched the 89 to the bridge instead of my emg 81tw in my schecter hellraiser. Im really liking the sound of the 89 but im still think about getting another pickup instead. What I don't like about it is it is still sterile sound (I want more of a passive pickup), It has a harsh top end on the high strings (would like the top strings to be a little more fluid), and I still feel that its not tight and articulate enough. I was considering- dimarzio crunchlab, duncan distortion, bkp aftermath. I know these pickups are not any where near the 89 but I think there more of what I want from a pickup.
