Just got my MOTU 8Pre in today and decided to try it out before I had to get started on daily crap. Mic'ed with a Røde NT-2a and Shure SM57 (NT-2a is mic'ing a V30 and the SM57 is mic'ing a G12T75, both in a Marshall 2x12), on the left speaker is the V30, right is the T75.

EC-1000 w/ 81's -> Keeley TS-9 -> XSr™ on Ultra channel -> Marshall 2x12 -> mics -> 8Pre -> Cubase SX on my PowerBook
Only processing done is LP@12.3kHz and HP@80Hz and panning hard left/right. That's it.
Tonight I'll do some drums and bass up for that riff and see how it sounds fo rizzle.
