I believe Steve Souza sings on Alone in the Dark on FSSD (he's the second singer in Exodus, sings on most of their discs). Yeah, his voice sucks, but he was the original Testament singer (prior to any of their albums) so they had him come back and sing a couple tracks for the disc. Smyth plays in Testament, but has not yet recorded with them. He joined after The Gathering came out.

I agree with markgugs about which to get first; their old stuff is definitely best.

"the new order" and "the gathering" are my faves, and "practice what you preach" is a great one as well!
