here's a couple quick Axe FX tests. One is a tech riff in G or somewhere thereabouts.. a low tuning in any case. The other is a riff from 50th Gen with a Bogner model on it.. still not totally happy with either tone but its like they sound bad or anything :lol:

first clip is my SLSMG with Blackouts into the Axe Soldano model
second clip is my SLS3 with Cold Sweats into a Bogner Ecstasy model I think
Both have my SLS pitch shifted down an octave in real time running into the bass amp and that to fill out the low end.

I like Blackouts quite a bit more than EMGs. It is still the same basic tone, but with more output and a much fuller sound. I use the Blackout Neck in the bridge and then the Blackout Bridge in the neck.. its like having the 85 in the bridge and the 81 in the neck, so you get a tighter, more articulate riffing sound and then the smoothest, fattest solo sounds imaginable.
