I was a part of SCA (Heavy Combat) till I got WoW. Good old days.

Looks like a lot of fun, although I wouldn't necessarly call it "real" since the main real weapons are missing and are replaced with blunt objects.

Well, it's real enough. No need to kill people to call it real. They use the exact type of wood they used too back in the days for practice.
