I haven't seen a post mentioning this bands in a big while so I am wondering: do I listen to shitty bands? have these been discussed before? do people need a final push to discuss the bands?

I think all those bands I mentioned are very good

For some reason I can't stand Kamelot, Can't put my finger on it, it is the Vocals I think.

Kamelot - They are ok. new album is kinda cool.
Amorphis - great band. i like all their albums though tales is my fav.
(old)Tiamat - dont like any of their stuff.
Nasum - ok
Rhapsody - i love this band.
Night in Gales - they are ok.
Ablaze my sorrow - generic, but a good band
Amon Amarth - the crusher is a great fuckin album..good live too.
Crematory - boring.
Dissection - awesome. one of my favorite bands.
Gardenian - soulburner was good, rest is boring.
God Dethroned - ok.
Sentenced - north from here is teh only one i like.
Soilent Green - ok. new is decent. hope they get better
Grave - FUCK YEA!
Lamb of God - hate this band.
Nailbomb - ok when i was in highschool.
Obituary - not my thing.
Skinlab - fuck no.
Unleashed - fuck yeah. across teh open sea is the shit. we used to cover the one insane.

Kamelot and Rhapsody are okay if I'm in the mood for some cheese, other than that I can't say I care for anything on your list.

I think Kamelot's Karma was phenomenal. I also think Symphony of Enchanted Lands by Rhapsody is fantastic.

Both produced by Sasha Paeth and Miro - who also produce for Angra.

I know some people are put off by the "cheese", but I like the escapism. Always have - since the days of Rainbow, Dio and early Maiden.

Amorphis is one of my favorite bands. I also like Tiamat, Rhapsody, Amon Amarth, Sentenced, and Unleashed. Soilent Green is alright too. The rest I either haven't heard much from or am just not thrilled with.

I personally like all the amorphis albums
I am a collector when it comes to amorphis stuff
obituary,unleashed,gardenian,night in gales and dissection are some of those bands I like a lot too.
Skinlab sounds like sepultura when max was in vocals,kinda like that,so I like them

Amorphis - One of my all time fave bands! Love all their albums!! Although 'Tales...' and 'Elegy' are probably my faves.

Nasum - Like 'em!
Dissection - Fantastic BM!
Sentenced - I've noticed a lot of people talk about this band! I first got interested when I saw a CD cover in HMV, liked the sound of the song titles, so got home and downloaded "Killing Me, Killing You" and I'm sorry but I thought it was awful! The music was ok, but the vocals were awful! Can anyone tell me if this is a typical Sentenced track or are there better examples of their work I could d/l?

Soilent Green - Love this band! One of my fave Relapse outfits! The newest album is kick ass!

Nailbomb - Only heard a handful of songs, but what I've heard I loved!

Obituary - Fan-fucking-tastic! When I first heard them I liked the music, but was on the floor in stitches over the vocals! (I was very young and not really into anything heavier than GNR :O), but now I love them I seriously hope they can sort out the problems they are having vocally etc and get back out on the road/in studio!

well killing me killing you is a great song,in my humble opinion,but if you get the previous albums to crimson the sound is different,specially when Jarva was there.more of a rough approach

Haven't heard all of 'em, but...

Amorphis - heard some of their more progressive stuff and thought it rocked.
Tiamat - seem to have gone a little Sisters Of Mercy lately, but they still write some damn good music.
Nasum - My favourite grindcore band of all time.
Crematory - I used to love 'em, now I think they're well dodgy, and I seriously regret giving 'Remind' a 10/10 review for this site...
Soilent Green - an acquired taste - I like 'em in fairly small doses.
Obituary - one of my favourite death metal bands. Brilliant.
Skinlab - fuck yeah.

Yeah I'll agree with that. They are definately an aquired taste, in fact I think I'm one of my only mates who can stand them even in small doses. The same with bands like Marduk and Cryptopsy, but then I have a bunch of mates who think Soil are the next best thing!

I won't go through them all, but Grave are way underrated/overlooked. Much better and less monotonous than most death metal.
