"Help me, leave you
as all the days are... (gone or done?)"

I always believed it was gone, but on the official Opeth website it is written "done" :Smug:

He clearly sings 'gone'. And he uses 'done' in 'Atone for what you've done', would be 'wrong' to use it again.

On another note, the site/booklet says it's 'Atone for all you've done', but I clearly hear 'Atone for what you've done'.

Yeah, I've notice slight discrepencies between what is actually said and whatis in the booklet. I can't think of many at the moment, but there is one in Harlequin Forest. Book says: "Will never rest/ Will never be at ease."
Mike sings: "Will never rest/ never be at ease." It's not a huge difference, but it's the only one that comes to mind at this moment.

omg one of you's got a fake cd!! a woman actually sings instead of mikeal, i know!! damn them for changing A word, gosh!

i'm just kidding, they probably recorded multiple different versions of a song but put the same lyrics in the booklet just to wait for someone to notice and get all confused because of it. the wrong-lyriced cd also came with a small program that taps into your webcam and sends videos to mikael and others of you extremely puzzled. they're presumably laughing right now.

If you think clearly, it is most plausibly because Mikael wrote the lyrics and a layout for the booklet was created. They go into the recording studio and start recording the songs, and they make some minor adjustments.. maybe the song will flow better with one less syllable in the sentence or something. They're not going to contact the company who is printing the booklets and ask them to alter the layout just for a couple of words changed.

You see this happen with every band under the sun, the lyrics never sink up perfectly with the actual song... at least not in the metal and rock world.

I often wonder how these booklets are produced, as there are a lot of 'em with big errors, pretty funny but stupid too. I recently got the Breeding Death re-release, Mike's name is spelled everywhere as 'Mikael Akerfedt'... It also says 'Ominous Bloodvomit' on the inside, it's correct on the back though. Makes me think the people who make it just get a quick sloppy scribbled paper under their nose with the bandmembers and lyrics, haha. Whatever.
